Abstract [eng] The main task for the master thesis is to calculate vertical deformations of Vilnius Upper Castle and to investigate, if these constructions are still in progress of deformations. Upper castle is a important heritage object; therefore it is necessary to retain it. After 8 years, on the 6th of April, 2016, a survey was performed to establish vertical deformations for these constructions. Program was created to compute gathered data. Innovative castle monitoring options were offered. Website project was created to monitor deformations of constructions at the Upper Castle. The Upper Castle consists of Gediminas Tower and southwest defense wall, Palace of the Grand Dukes, the South Tower foundation, Southern retaining wall, Eastern retaining wall and North West retaining wall (located by Gediminas Tower). Performed measurements have a practical worth allowing foresee further condition of these constructions. Monitoring of vertical deformations was carried out according to the accuracy requirements of second order geometric levelling, using “LEICA“ companies level instrument NA 3003 and coded leveling staff. In this master thesis, archival material of technical reports is analysed, and technical report of performed measurments was provided. Measurement results were systemized, processed using mathematical-statistical methods, measurements data are compared with previously gathered data, submitted by graphic tools. When analyzing diagrams, constructions are examined for any of their changes, indicating possible reasons of those appearance. For the result speed of vertical deformations was calculated and given their predictions for 2020 year. According to perennial calculations of vertical deformations of the Upper Castle was determine that constructions are still deforming. At the end of this thesis conclusion and recommendations, references and appendixes are provided. Structure: introduction, 8 chapters, conclusion and suggestions, references. Thesis consists of: 69 p. text without appendixes, 31 illustrations, 3 tables and 23 references. Appendixes included.
