Master theses concentrates on analysis of Vilnius Šnipiškės area between Kalvariju, Lvovo, Daugeliskio and Linkmenu str., hereafter Senosios Šnipiškės. The aim of master theses is to provide development proposals of Senosios Snipiškės area, in order to preserve unique identity of the area and traditional wooden architecture by adapting worldwide urban planning tendencies and existing tools. Theses consists of introduction, subject description, 4 main parts - definition of identity, history and development of Senosios Šnipiškės, wooden architecture as Lithuanian identity, development proposals, conclusion, list of literature. Thesis extent is 66 pages without annex, 26 pictures, 2 tables, 43 biographical resources and 3 annexes. |
