Abstract [eng] This master's thesis explores the impact of quality management on the performance of construction companies. Initially, based on academic literature and regulatory frameworks, four stages of construction project management—planning, execution, control, and evaluation—were defined, and specific quality criteria were assigned to each stage. The resulting structured evaluation system served as the basis for the empirical research. During the study, multi-criteria evaluation methods (AHP and SAW) were applied to analyze expert survey results and assess the importance of each criterion across companies of different sizes. In addition, the relative importance of each project stage was determined for each company group. The findings revealed that small companies focus primarily on the execution stage and worker safety, medium-sized companies emphasize subcontractor and documentation management, while large companies prioritize systematic control and evaluation. The research demonstrates that quality management practices must be adapted to the specific characteristics of each organization. The developed criteria system may be applied in practice as a tool for planning and evaluating quality processes. The study’s conclusions and recommendations are relevant for construction companies, quality management professionals, and researchers.
