Abstract [eng] Issues related to organised crime and its prevention are at present extensively analysed in Europe and other continents. The article contains empirical results of the Survey of attempts at irregular influence on prosecutors' and judges' work in Lithuania. The questionnaire for this survey was prepared for international Finnish - Lithuanian research on matter, mentioned above. The kinds of irregular influence in this research were: attempts to bribe, threats, physical harm and attempts to blackmail. In Lithuania the questionnaires were filled in by 55,5 percent of the total number of judges and 75,4 percent of the total number of prosecutors, who held these posts during the 2000 Survey in Lithuania. Between 83,4 percent and 94,6 percent of the judges, who filled in the questionnaires have not experienced irregidar influence in the course of the last five years. Between 84,4 percent and 96,1 percent of prosecutors, who filled in the questionnaires, have not experienced irregular influence in the course of the last five years.
