Abstract [eng] This work performs the comparative analysis of theatre theory and philosophical sources. By concentrating on the issue of portraying the subjective reality in theatre, having reviewed the concepts of mimesis, empathy and the XXth century theatre canon of Eastern Europe, which marginalised the traditional visual theatre genres, the need of theoretical and practical directorial conception, capable of expressing the problem of portraying the new reality in the theatre is motivated. After formulating the conclusions of the comparative analysis carried out in the first part of this work and the tasks of finding the solution for the issue formulated there, this paper overviews the theories of Carl Gustav Jung‘s analytical psychology theories, their influence on art in the XXth century and possible links with theatre practices in the aspect of the issues overviewed in the first part. Technical characteristics of the performance’s directorial conception, based on application of Carl Gustav Jung‘s collective unconsciousness and archetype concepts to the main character‘s psychological analysis and creation of visual dramaturgy of the performance. The hypothetical rule of three substances is formulated. A practical and theoretical artistic study, examining the effect and practical application of the rule of three substances. Fyodor Dostoevsky‘s short story “The Dream of the Ridiculous Man” is analysed through the prism of Carl Gustav Jung‘s analytical psychology and each character is assigned both the different archetype and the genre of the theatre. After performing the analysis of literature and applying psychological character analysis method, based on theories of analytical psychology, the directorial conception of the performance is created. The conception is fulfilled by creating a virtual reality (360 degrees) film, the goal of which is to recreate the main characteristics of dream reality based on analysis of the dream logic. The conclusion consists of intermediate conclusions of the analysed theoretical sources, generalisation of the practical rule of three substances realisation, analysis of the applicability of directorial conception and psychological analysis method, based on Carl Gustav Jung‘s ideas.
