Abstract [eng] In this paper, children's adaptation in a pre-school educational organisation is studied from the management point of view. The focus is on organizing the children's adaptation in a pre-school educational organisation. Organizing is an important management function, so children's adaptation analysis through organizational prism helps to fully disclose the management aspect of children's adaptation. The object of the research is the management aspect of children's adaptation in „N“ kindergarten-nursery of Klaipėda. The aim is to theoretically analyze the peculiarities of management aspect of children's adaptation in a pre-school educational organisation and to investigate the organizing children's adaptation in „N“ kindergarten-nursery. The theoretical part of the thesis analyzes the peculiarities of management aspect of children's adaptation in a pre-school educational organisation, distinguishes the most important factors determining children's adaptation in a pre-school educational organisation, analyzes the organizing children's adaptation in a pre-school educational organisation and identifies the essential components of organizing children's adaptation in a pre-school educational organisation. Empirical part presents empirical research and results of children's adaptation in N“ kindergarten-nursery of Klaipėda. The influence of organizational, educational and motivational, psychological and social adaptation components on children's adaptation in „N“ kindergarten-nursery of Klaipėda are evaluated. The role of pedagogues (group teachers), management of a pre-school educational organisation, parents and group children (peers) in „N“ kindergarten-nursery are determined. Comparison of the attitudes of pedagogues (group teachers) and parents to the process of children's adaptation in „N“ kindergarten-nursery is presented. At the end of the paper, conclusions and recommendations to managers on how to improve the children's adaptation in pre-school educational organisations are given.
