Abstract [eng] |
In short time chamber works of Maurice Ravel ranked in repertoire of the most recognized classical music performers, and are constantly included in prestigious festival programs. Though not abundant, his chamber works are spread throughout all his creative periods and reflect them perfectly: from impressionist to neoclassicist strokes in music. The works under analysis in the study: Sonata No.1 in A minor for violin and piano; Piano trio in A minor; and Sonata No.2 in G major for violin and piano – seek to enframe this genre in M.Ravel‘s creation; while shadings of the piano part being examined in detail – reveal close connection between the music pieces. The investigative work for Master’s Degree consists of two sections: the first deals with general trends of M.Ravel‘s creation and style, his place and importance in the European context; then the violin sonatas and the piano trio are presented. In the second section, records of Trio in A minor and Sonata No.2 in G major are analized, a piano part being distinquished. The material collected and summarized will help young performers take a fresh look at chamber works of M.Ravel as well as diversity of artistic and technical means of expression of the piano part. It may also enwiden their outlook perceiving general trends of time. |
