Double bass solo repertoire began to increase only at the end of the Classicist era, and received more attention in the 20th century in neoclassical works. In this context, the master thesis “ Revival of Classicist Genres in the 20th Century Double Bass Repertoire: Nino Rota "Divertimento Concertante" for Double Bass and Orchestra” reviews the main instrumental genres of the Classicist era. Attention is paid to the Concert genre and its expression in neoclassical works, the circumstances of the creation of the Italian composer N. Rota's Divertismeno Concertante for double bass and orchestra and the specifics of the work are discussed in more detail. |
