The master's thesis examines the topic of great relevance – the interaction of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and innovative activities in Lithuanian companies. The aim of the work is to identify the interaction between CSR and innovative activities in Lithuanian companies and to provide recommendations for strengthening this interaction. The work consists of three parts: theoretical, examining the theoretical aspects of CSR, innovative activities and possible interactions of these phenomena, the methodological part substantiates the research methodology and provides research organization guidelines, and the third analytical-project part analyzes secondary data sources and empirical research results, statistical and causal relationships, hypotheses are being tested as well. The research hypotheses are partially confirmed, Lithuanian business leaders have a relatively high level of innovation and CSR implementation, a weak but existing relationship between the strength of CSR and innovation is recorded, and it is established that the innovation activity of companies has no significant relationship with the development of sustainable or eco-innovation so far. Taking into account the synthesis of the analysis of literature sources, secondary data and the results of empirical research, recommendations and suggestions are formulated on how to strengthen the interaction between CSR and innovation activities. |
