The research goal is to reveal and estimate the impact of empathic relationship between the vocal student and his teacher for the singer‘s professional performance and artistic development in the future. The first chapter is divided into three sections: „The concept of emotional intelligence and its connection to the empathy“, „Empathy and educology“ and „Empathy and music. The reflection of empathic relationship in singer‘s professional development“. In this chapter, the topic of empathy is reviewed in the scientific literature. In the second chapter the interviews of ten Lithuanian singers are investigated about how empathic relationships between them and their vocal teachers have impacted their professional development. |
