Abstract [eng] |
The object of this art research is the psychophysical state of a 21st century “synthetic” (synthetic - (gr. synlhetikos) based on synthesis; forming the unity of various elements) actor, when he creates and performs roles based on the synthesis of already acquired acting tools and plant life principles. Such an unusual artistic practice, where the acquired acting technique skills are sought to be synthesized with elements of a botany science, was encouraged by the increasingly common ideas of a posthumanism philosophy in a contemporary theater. This research is designed to explore an actor's psychophysical state when he acts on stage and is guided not by humanistic thinking, measured by man, but by posthumanist ideas that are applied on stage: the actor acts on stage not as a "center" but as one of the elements interacting with each other; characters are created and performed by the actor, using not only the already acquired acting tools, but also the knowledge of botany science, thus combining the human and inhuman worlds in the creative process. |
